Title: 2 Grands 4 Little Ones
Artist: Dr. Linda Reese with Adam Chester
|
Music Media: CD
Composer: Francis Lai, Walt Disney etc.
Artist Country: USA
Recorded: 2009
Genre: World Music
Brief description: This CD can, in many ways, be considered Dr. Linda Reese her first! For years she played the piano that was in her children´s room as they went to sleep.
The order of songs was influenced by both her studies in music therapy and her experience with her own children. She found that when children were desperately trying to use their last once of energy and bouncing off the walls, they ignored the soft lullaby music. It seemed that if she scould create the chaos externally that they were feeling internally, it "neutralized" the chaos and they were able to settle. Dr. Linda Reese is one of the most eclectic and prolific performers recording today. 2 Grands 4 Little Ones is her 4th album to be released in 2009. Adam Chester has been referred to as "Elton John´s Surrogate" and he performed on tour with the Elton John band on several occasions as well. His original music has been featured in many television shows and feature films, and he´s also known around Los Angeles as the music director for various theater shows. |
Music Media: CD
Composer: Adolphe Adam, Franz Xaver Gruber etc.
Artist Country: USA
Recorded: 2009
Genre: World Music
Brief description: Dr. Linda reese: "Come play with me! This simple, childlike request transformed a Christmas present for my family into a present for all of you. For years, every night I played the same five songs on the piano in my children´s room while they went to sllep. In December, ´06, my intent was to record those songs as a Christmas present for my family. While recording in a room with four pianos, Adam Chester walked by and pleaded "Come play with me!" I instantly fell in love with the sound. Here, as a bonus track - O Holy Night - you can hear the song that hooked me. O Holy Night was the first song we played together. I hope you enjoy it; talking and laughing, and all."

Artist Country: USA

At 16, she played the virtuosic piece Brandenburg Concerto #5 (with both feet on the floor) and then went on to double major in music and psychology at Bowdoin College, in beautiful Maine.
Linda´s recent awards include 2007 Coach of the Year for West Side Little League, Fort Worth. Since Linda found Adam Chester, she is thrilled to get the sound she has yearned for without using her feet. Domain Artist: www.drlindareese.com
